A Missions Support Group meets to pray and encourage our missionaries on a regular basis.
In view of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) we value and are committed to external partnerships with Christian mission and ministry beyond our church. Jesus is Lord of the nations. Therefore we value our responsibility to help the spread of the gospel both locally and globally.
Christian Education in Schools
Christian Education in Schools is available in ACT Public Schools four times a year, for families who give permission for their children to attend. It provides interactive theme based sessions, one each term, on the topics of Easter, God, The Bible and Christmas. The sessions encourage students to seek, question and explore the big story of the Bible and God’s love for them in Jesus.
SUPA Clubs organised by Scripture Union are voluntary lunch time clubs for Children operating in Primary Schools. The program includes stories from the Bible, games and craft. SUPA Clubs operate in schools with the permission of the principal. Students can only attend if they have signed permission and consent from their parents or guardians. The clubs are run by volunteers from local churches who aim to provide a safe and welcoming place for children along with an opportunity to investigate Christian beliefs.
Simon and Jessica Cowell
The Cowells, together with their 3 young children, serve with CMS in Bari, Italy, seeking to tell University Students about Jesus.
